Apple starts selling Fender Squier Stratocaster guitars compatible with iOS

This is strange, but it’s probably good news for those novice music makers who aspire to better exploit their musical instruments and their devices. Apple began offering its online store in a Fender suitable for connection to equipment based on Apple’s mobile operating system, and fully compatible with one of its programs to create music: GarageBand.

Of course, the may also be connected to a conventional amplifier without problems. But it is ideal if you have an iPad, or with 30-pin connector. Yes, in a terrible twist of fate, this equipment was designed to work with classic connector recently rejected by Apple, so if you want to connect to newer devices have to buy an adapter to Lightning. This unit will also be without problems with a MacBook or a Windows 7-based computer.

This guitar is now available in the U.S. online Apple Store for $ 199.95.
