Hurry Intel Atom processor development for mobile
Today, Brian Krzanich, CEO of Intel, said that his company is being evaluated and the future agenda for products Atom microprocessors energy-efficient power that initially were used in laptops and now, trying to seize the market mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
The idea is as simple as speed up the development process to go as debuting new models faster, looking to catch in the race to competitors based on the ARM architecture as Qualcomm, Samsung and NVIDIA among many others.
And is that years ago, precisely in 2007, Intel was about to take over the central processor for the first iPhone , a task that would have accelerated the development process for the Atom series and today might have been in the business domain in that area, something that did not happen and now has to Brian Krzanich very concerned that Intel is lagging behind and very slow moving Atom to be relevant.
