The current Patent war technology industry has a new battle: sued-yes, again – to in Germany, but this time the darts are targeted to the current owner of the company, Google.

This is because the is on Motorola devices that infringe a patent for ‘take information from a map and sobreponerlo over another’, ie Maps (or any truth map application).

Microsoft already has won three lawsuits against Motorola to ban sales of its devices in (patents are infringed on the FAT file system, text messages and a way to communicate with an application keyboard), while last week lost the fourth in Mannheim.

No reports on specific devices that infringed this patent, but it certainly is a problem because it is not just a function that can be easily re-recoding.
