New York debut at public charging stations powered by solar energy
Starting Tuesday, residents of New York were appearing in their parks and public spaces throughout the city to 25 charging stations powered by solar cell, which is part of a pilot project in conjunction mayor with the U.S. carrier AT & T.
The stations consist of steel posts 3.8 meters high with three Solar Panels shaped like the petals of a flower at its tip, which are capable of supplying electricity to up to six devices at once, and has wires Dedicated to the iPhone (the pins and Lightning 30), and the rest of the teams that use the standard microUSB.
If the experience is successful, AT & T could expand to other cities in the project, which would cost between $ 300,000 and $ 500,000. Would you like to see a project like this in your city?
