Nokia closed its last plant cell: 780 remain s ...

Sadly Nokia today confirmed the of its last in the Finnish town of Salo, Finland, this movement will cause the loss of 780 workers amid a financial crisis affecting Europe.

The former king of cell phones can not return to proudly say “Made in Finland” since their last device was assembled on Wednesday, although officially the plant will close in September this year.

Although sad, we are as unexpected news that had reported in June that it planned to eliminate jobs in 3.700 to try to reduce their operating costs. Peo Moreover, the cellular technology company said it would seek to eliminate 10,000 employees worldwide.

  1. If any other company comes in and buy the Nokia plant will the standards on the Phone be maintained? Right now I’m looking the Nokia phone to buy, and I thought they are still made in Finland!
