Nokia unveils the Lumia 820, its midrange computer with Windows Phone 8
After the excitement caused in recent days by the launch of its first phones with Windows Phone 8 , Nokia Lumia presented their latest models with Microsoft operating system at an event in New York together.
The Lumia 820 aims to be the mid-range phone that Nokia launches Windows Phone 8, which has a design similar to the Lumia 920 , but with a 4.3 inch OLED screen with 800 x 480 resolution, 8GB internal memory, its rounded edges and without technology PureView .
Another difference is that wireless charging capabilities to be given by an external casing that would add an inch thick, but it would be interchangeable with different colors.
Dismissing those details, and like its high-end sibling, the Lumia 820 has a polycarbonate body and a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5 Ghz, connectivity LTE , Carl Zeiss camera of 8 megapixel and 1 GB of RAM. You can also perform the same functions as the 920 regarding the use of your camera, as the ‘lens’ and augmented reality capabilities as the Nokia City Lens .
A recent study by consultancy Canalys said the Windows Phone has only 3% of the market, in contrast to 68% of Android and 16% of iOS, so perhaps something-never imagined a decade ago this time companies ‘small’ struggling to capture a larger share of the cellular market are industry giants Nokia and Microsoft.
The presentation did not specify the price or release date. We just hope that no more than one year later to appear in Latin America.Tags: Lumia, Lumia 820, Nokia, Nokia Lumia 820
