They have distributed more than 20 million Samsung Galaxy S4, as South Korean media

According to several South Korean media, the head of Samsung’s mobile division, JK Shin confirmed that the has distributed more than 20 million units since its launch 68 days ago, which puts him in a more comfortable position with respect numbers to Apple with the iPhone 5, although still far from equal participation.

The news comes just a month and a half after the same announced the sale of more than 10 million Samsung Galaxy S4, so everything seems to indicate that the Korean smartphone has maintained a steady pace of since joining to the windows. Importantly units shipped does not equal units sold, but certainly serve to give a diagnosis of the demand of the device.

The numbers have not been officially confirmed by the company, however, to be thoughtful, the became the best-selling Android device of the story, which is not a minor detail considering the existing competition within the sector and history that burden on their shoulders.

In early June, the independent consultant Susquehanna Financial Group said that Samsung could lower their sales forecasts between 20 and 30 million, although this new data might end up with that setting. Next week, South Korea’s will deliver a new financial report, so we have to wait to see the whole picture.
