Twitter announced that Vine is finally available for Android

After revealing that already reached the 13 million active users, Twitter announced that will eventually reach its expected application Vine , you need Android 4.0 or higher, which although will not immediately with much of the functionality of its counterpart for iOS, these will go implemented with subsequent updates.

Among the features you will not have the first version of for Android is support for the front camera, search, mentions and hashtags, and share on Facebook, which will arrive in the coming weeks.

The good news is that Android users will not possess unique features that the version such as zoom, with more features than you’ll be adding that “only exist on the Android platform.”

For now, it seems that is only available for the U.S., so you have to wait for some kind soul to upload the APK Android Vine enjoy.
